Q Restaurant & Bar is a family-owned restaurant in downtown Portland, Oregon. Established in 2016, we created a uniquely beautiful space to share our love of great food, fine wines, and the belief that dining itself is an enriching experience.
Our restaurant features a comfortable bar with panoramic windows, an airy dining room, and an open kitchen with seating and views from our Chef's Counter. Executive Chef Victor Martinez leads our scratch kitchen, assembling creative dishes and curating a beautiful experience for our guests.
We want you to feel welcome in our space, whether you are here for a quick bite, a family dinner, or a romantic date night. Our dedication to the details that matter for every guest is evident in all that we do.

Victor grew up in a small town in Hidalgo, Mexico, where his family farmed crops such as corn, fava beans, and squash. He has been mastering his work in Portland for over 20 years.
A naturally intuitive chef with a palate that doesn't fail, Victor contributes beautifully authentic Mexican dishes and techniques to our menu. His food draws fans from guests to staff alike.
You can visit with Victor at our Chef's Counter in the evenings to enjoy his warm and generous spirit.
Brianna leads alongside Victor as Executive Sous Chef, helping shape the global and eclectic dishes that define Q's daily service.
The Martinez partnership is the heart of our family-owned kitchen — a working rhythm built around scratch cooking, ingredient respect, and the small details that turn a meal into an experience.
Chef Victor Martinez has been cultivating relationships with our suppliers for over 20 years — many of whom were brand new small businesses just getting off the ground when he started working with them.

Tuesday through Saturday, the door is open. Reservations are kind; walk-ins are welcome.
